It is believed they arrived in Chile from Peru via France on a ship where they met the Caillaux siblings they each married. Carlos worked as a Manager for "La Casa Frances" a large department Store in Santiago. Carlos became ill and he was paralysed from the waist down, he the contracted Pneumonia and died at age 45.
